30-Day Plain Workwear Returns & Branded Items
Plain workwear can be returned under our 30-day change-of-mind policy. Clothing personalised with your logo, printing, embroidery or individual wording cannot be returned for a change of mind. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Contact us about a returnPlain items: tell us within 30 days
Contact us within 30 days of delivery to request a change-of-mind return of plain, unpersonalised items. For the additional voluntary period beyond your statutory cancellation rights, items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered and in resalable condition with the original tags. Trying on an item to check fit is allowed.
Include your order reference, the product codes, sizes and quantities you wish to return. Return address: Sandycroft Workwear Ltd, 26 Babbage Road, Engineer Park, Sandycroft, Flintshire, CH5 2QD. We will provide return instructions. Do not send garments to a supplier or to our registered office. Our requested contact process does not replace a consumer’s right to give a clear cancellation notice.
Printed, embroidered and personalised items
We do not accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges of items made to your personal specification, including company logo printing, embroidery and individual names. This includes a change of mind about an approved size, garment colour, wording or logo position.
Check the size guide, quantities and artwork proof carefully before confirming production. Ask about a plain fit-check garment if you are unsure. If an order has not entered production, contact the team immediately about a requested change; any change depends on the order stage and agreed work already undertaken.
Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods
Personalisation does not remove your rights if goods are faulty, not as described or incorrectly supplied. Contact us with your order reference and a description of the issue. Photographs can help us assess it, but a photograph is not a condition of exercising your legal rights.
We will review the issue and arrange the appropriate remedy under applicable law. Where we are responsible for the problem, reasonable return costs are covered. Do not assume the change-of-mind exclusion prevents a claim about a fault or a failure to meet the agreed specification.
Consumer online cancellation rights
For eligible plain goods bought online by a consumer, you can notify us of cancellation within 14 days of receiving the goods and then have a further 14 days to return them. The 30-day voluntary policy adds to those rights. Personalised goods made to your specification are generally excluded from change-of-mind cancellation.
You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. The voluntary resalable-condition requirement does not reduce statutory inspection rights; any legally permitted deduction for diminished value depends on handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Return postage and refunds
For a change-of-mind return, you are responsible for return postage unless we agree otherwise. Pack garments securely and keep evidence of sending. This does not apply where we are responsible for faulty or incorrect goods.
Eligible consumer cancellation refunds include the basic outbound delivery charge where required by law. Refunds are made through the original payment method within the applicable legal time limit, normally within 14 days of receiving the goods back or evidence of return, whichever is earlier. Enhanced delivery charges above the basic service need not be refunded. Business purchases have different statutory protections; the stated plain-item policy still applies unless separately agreed trade terms say otherwise.
