Embroidered Workwear Hoodies & Sweatshirts
Add a stitched company name or logo to a practical warmer layer. Explore workwear hoodies and sweatshirts, mix staff sizes and choose chest or back embroidery where the style is suitable.
Choose a hoodie or sweatshirt for your team
Compare pullover, zip and crew neck styles against how the uniform will be used. A zip can make a layer easier to remove, while a crew neck avoids a hood covering an upper back design. Check fabric weight, supplier care guidance and the fit over any polo or T-shirt worn underneath.
Choose garment colours with the complete uniform in mind. The logo should remain legible on each colour, and the team can review thread references before production. A dark thread choice that works on a pale garment may need adjusting for navy or black.
Plan the chest and back design
Chest embroidery starts with a compact reference width up to 90 mm. Back reference pricing covers designs up to 250 mm wide. A larger stitched area can change the feel of the garment, especially on lighter fabrics, so both the design and garment construction need review.
On a hoodie, consider where the hood rests. On a zipped garment, avoid assuming a design can cross the zip. Use a supported chest or back position in the ordering pictures, then include any placement preference in your notes. The final production proof resolves the actual location.
Embroidery prices and setup
Chest standard text or logo is estimated at £5 ex VAT; a chest football style badge at £7.50. Back standard text or logo is estimated at £8 ex VAT; a back football style badge at £12. These are per application, per garment at the reference sizes, subject to stitch and suitability review.
New embroidery setup is £25 excluding VAT (£30 including VAT) per artwork, position and finished size. The same approved specification across garments is counted once. A chest logo and a back logo need separate setups. Setup is waived only when clothing and branding after discounts exceed £395, excluding VAT, delivery and setup; exactly £395 does not qualify. Reusing an existing production file needs staff approval.
Combine methods and staff quantities
An embroidered chest logo can be combined with a printed back design on a compatible style. Each position has its own method and price, so the basket shows the two applications separately. If some garments should remain plain, adjust the branded quantities in the basket.
Different staff names or departments need an explicit specification. Add the wearer list to the notes and contact the team to agree the variations rather than treating all names as one shared company logo.
Order and approve your branded layers
Choose a garment, add the quantities for each size and colour, then continue to logos. Tap the Print or Embroidery picture, choose a supported position and upload a PNG, JPG or PDF up to 5 MB. You can type a company name, use saved artwork or send the logo later. Standard sizes provide a starting point; special sizes and colour instructions can be added. Review the clothing, logo applications, setup, delivery and VAT before saving your draft.
The garment picture shows approximate placement, not a production proof. Stock, the finished design, colours, position, garment compatibility and any embroidery estimate need confirmation before payment and production. A saved draft does not reserve stock or place a paid order. Allow a working production estimate of five working days after cleared payment and artwork approval, subject to availability and the confirmed specification.
Plain items have a 30-day change-of-mind return policy. Items personalised with your logo, printing or embroidery cannot be returned for a change of mind. Your rights for faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied goods are unaffected.
